When it comes to being recognized for innovation and the transcendence of art and craft, there is no greater award than a Communicator. The 22 annual The Communicator Awards boasted more than 6,000 entrants from around the world, and 36creative was fortunate enough to receive four distinct awards in a variety of categories.

About The Communicator Awards

The Communicator Awards started more than two decades ago and strives to recognize bold and innovative ideas in marketing and communications. It is presented by the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts, which includes executive members like Disney, Coach, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Estee Lauder, and others. It is one of the biggest awards of its type, and it provides all entrants an equal opportunity to win, regardless of their budget or team size. All it takes is work that moves people and truly makes a difference to take home a Communicator, but with so many entrants and limited categories, winning is a true challenge.

Bringing the Gold Home

36creative won four very distinct awards across three categories in the 22 annual The Communicator Awards. The Gold Award of Excellence, the highest available recognition, was the result of their work with the Grow Hope Foundation, which helps improve circumstance through education around the word. The award was in the Corporate Identity: Logo category for the design of the foundation’s logo.

Three Silver Awards

36creative also received three Silver Awards of Distinction in three categories.

  • Corporate Identity: Logo Category– This award was the result of the logo designed for Elana Mokady, an artist who designs and creates gorgeous, vibrant art designed to create an uplifting atmosphere at home, in hospitals, in senior homes, and in other public spaces around the world.
  • Website: Visual Appeal Category – 36creative designed a website for Craftsmanship Is Dead, the union which seeks to bring together companies and individuals alike who focus on faith in creativity and pride in their unique crafts.
  • Website: Food and Beverage Category – Finally, this award was the result of 36creatives initiative to provide Traveling Vineyard, an at-home wine marketing company that offers everyday consumers the ability to make money by marketing a variety of wines, with a stunning and user-friendly website.

How Entrants Are Judged

All of the winners are hand-selected by Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts representatives. They were selected to uphold the Communicator Awards commitment to fairness and achievement based on merit. Each entrant is given a fair opportunity to win an award based solely on standards of excellence in communications and marketing. Judges score each entry on a 100-point scale; Gold Award of Excellence recipients typically score at least 90 points, while Silver Award of Distinction recipients receive scores of 70 to 89 points.

36creative has won numerous awards over their years of service, including these from The Communicator Awards as well as others from The Ad Club, Brandathon, Hatch55, AIGA, CSSA Awards, Awwwards, and LogoLounge, among others. Each reward is a true honor and a showcase of 36creative’s innovation and dedication to realizing their clients’ visions.
